History

The inaugural event of the Panama Championship was held in 2004 under the name of the BellSouth Panama Championship and was won by Jimmy Walker, an American professional golf player.

The name changed multiple times after that, and the tournament was renamed “the Panama Championship” in 2018.

The previous Panama championship took place in the 2023 Korn Ferry tour, which was the 33rd season of the tour, and it was procured by Carson Young, an American golf player.

When is the next Panama Championship?

The upcoming Panama championship will be held at the Panama Golf Club in Panama City, starting from 1 February 2024 to 4 February 2024.
