The Astara Golf Championship is also known as the Colombia Championship, it is a golf tournament on the Korn Ferry golf tour, which is a stepping stone for golfers to reach the PGA Tour. The championship is sponsored by Mastercard Inc., a worldwide payment processing company based in the United States.

The new year 2024 and Korn Ferry tour are here, and the Astara Golf Championship is also coming along to Colombia, commencing on 8 February and concluding on 11 February 2024 at Country Club of Bogota, Bogota, Colombia.

History

The inaugural tournament was held in 2020 at Country Club de Bogota, located in Bogota, Colombia, and was named the Pacific Rubiales Bogota Open. After that, the name changed a couple of times. Recently, it was renamed to Astara Golf Championship in 2022 and won by Brandon Mathews, an American professional golf player.

Prize money

The total prize money allocated for the Astara Golf Championship 2024 is 1,000,000 USD.
