Venue

Bay Hill Club and Resort is a private golf club named after and owned by Mr. Arnold Palmer, a Legendary golf player from the United States. The resort was established in 1961 and is one of the best and most iconic golf courses with state-of-the-art facilities including a hotel, tennis courts, guest houses, a fitness center, and many other amenities for the guests. The club covers an area of 270 acres of land surrounded by beautiful lakes.

History

The inaugural tournament was held in 1966 and has had many names. Since 2007, it’s been played under the name Arnold Palmer Invitational to honor the great and legendary golf player Arnold Palmer.

A sponsorship deal was announced in 2012 with Mastercard Inc., one of the largest payment processing companies. Hence, it is currently known as the Arnold Palmer Invitational Presented by Mastercard.

The total prize money for the Arnold Palmer Invitational Presented by Mastercard 2023 is $20,000,000.
